It is edited by Brendan Slamin of the Digital TV Group. Brendan Slamin held a number of senior operational management positions in the BBC that enable him to bring a wide experience of programme making requirements to his work in HDTV. He won the Judges' Award of the Royal Television Society for his contribution to the first UK research work on High Definition TV. He co-ordinated the work of the UK Widescreen Forum that helped ensure the successful introduction of widescreen TV in the UK. He currently co-ordinates the work of the DTG UK HD Forum.
