A new LG project has created a 3D version of Facebook's newsfeed.
The 3D newsfeed is the first product of the LG 3D studio—an experimental platform set up by LG-commissioned creative agency Perfect Fools to explore new possibilities of 3D experience in a bid to show 'that the best things in life are even better in 3D'.
The 3D newsfeed is an app that enables viewers to see their Facebook newsfeed in 3D. The application can be viewed on a 2D screen but can be viewed better on a 3D screen, according to LG.
Available via Lg3dstudio.com, the application works with various elements of the newsfeed, including how posts are displayed, navigation, depth, movement, colours, 'likes' and content representation.
LG 3D Studio is encouraging feedback and ideas for future experiments via the app and their Facebook page.
