Food Network UK has announced its expansion from a four-hour programming block to all day, every day on Freeview.
"By expanding Food Network's on-air presence, we are not only providing viewers with round-the-clock food and lifestyle programmes, but we also enrich and strengthen the overall value of our subscription-free offer," said Guy North, Marketing Communications Director at Freeview.
The expansion will see Food Network series from the U.S. like Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, Man vs Food Nation, and Barefoot Contessa, plus originally commissioned UK programming such as Andy Bates Street Feasts and Reza, Spice Prince of India.
Nick Thorogood, Managing Director of Food Network Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) added: "Today's news is a testament to the quality of our programming and Food Network UK's popularity and reputation amongst viewers. By extending our hours on this platform, all Freeview households will now be able to enjoy our great food entertainment all day, every day."
Food Network UK wil be broadcast 24 hours a day, seven days a week from 20 July.
