TechniSat launches Freeview USB
TechniSat Digital has unveiled a USB DVB-T Stick for the reception of Freeview digital TV and radio on a PC or laptop.
The AirStar TeleStick includes interactive red button services when used with Windows® 7 and Personal Video Recorder (PVR) functionality—allowing programmes to be recorded and timeshifted using the PC's hard disk drive.
The USB is supplied with DVBViewer TE2 software for use with any version of Windows and can be used at home or on the move.
TechniSat's Managing Director, Martin Cole said, "This product adds to the award winning range of PC digital TV products produced by TechniSat. The compact Freeview certified AirStar TeleStick 2 adds broadcast TV and PVR functionality to the PC."
