Sky has announced that Sky Mobile TV is now available on the 3 mobile phone service for its UK customers.3 UK customers will now have access to many of the UK's 'live' mobile TV channels, including Sky Sports, Sky Sports News Xtra, Sky News, At The Races and CNN. The channels are available for a monthly flat fee of £5 or £1 per day, in addition to any data packages customers may take from the 3 UK network.
3 UK customers will be able to access the Sky Mobile TV service via 'Planet 3', from where they will be taken to Sky's Mobile TV portal that will deliver video to them via a dedicated server.
David Gibbs, General Manager, Mobile, BSkyB, comments: "We are excited that 3 UK customers can now watch the latest breaking news from the RTS award winning Sky News; the best of the FA Premier League, UEFA Champions League, Premiership Rugby Union or Test Match cricket from Sky Sports, 3 UK customers need not miss a minute of the action."
