SES Global powers eTV in Croatia
Satellite operator SES Global has agreed to supply satellite internet services to Croatian telecoms group Vodatel. The service will deliver internet and interactive television services under the brand name of eTV.
The service will offer subscribers a video-on-demand (VOD) offering with a choice of 100 movies every month, plus access to more than 100 international and national television channels.
In addition, the service offers households broadband internet access at 1 Mbps.
Vodatel chairman Sebastian Popovic said: "Our eTV media centre box enables interactive home entertainment with very attractive services such as VOD, TV and radio, music jukebox, e-mail and many others. Thanks to our agreement with the leading satellite operator in Europe, SES Astra, we are able to provide reliable and high-quality broadband and multimedia services to the residential market in Croatia."
