Disney Channel is set to launch in Turkey

The Disney Channel will launch on Digiturk's digital satellite platform at the end of April after the signing of a multi-year agreement which follows Disney Channel launches in Poland and South Africa.

John Hardie, executive VP Disney Channels EMEA, said: "Disney Channel continues to rapidly expand into new markets across the world, playing a key role in introducing the Disney brand to new consumers.

"Under the daily management of [Disney Channel Italy chief] Giorgio Stock and with the expertise of our new partner Digiturk, we are poised to build Disney Channel into the leading kids' TV brand in Turkey."
