BBC R&D has created a Programme List prototyope that enables viewers to make a list of programmes when they hear about them and easily find them again later, according to a blog post by Senior Development Producer, Tristan Ferne.
Viewers are required to sign in with Twitter to use the Programme List on a computer or smartphone. The List can be used to search for recent and upcoming programmes on TV and radio—entire shows, series or just episodes can be added to the list as well as details on when and where they are available.
The List includes programmes from the past 7 days and the next 10 days and supports all national BBC TV and radio channels plus some partner channels from ITV, Channel 4 and Five.
Previously the prototype was invite-only but is now open to anyone with a Twitter account.
