YooMedia wins NHS Direct iTV extension

YooMedia, the interactive television (iTV) and games specialist, has had its contract to provide an iTV version of NHS Direct renewed until April 2007, with an option to extend it to March 2008.

The launch followed a series of pilots which demonstrated that digital TV could make health information available to a wide audience, and specifically to some sectors of the population who are hard to reach through other communications channels.
